Experticket accompanies its clients at the 1st Family Tourism Congress of the Valencian Community organized by Tour&Kids

Family tourism in the Valencian Community is in a decisive moment of transformation and growth. Experticket was present at the I Family Tourism Congress, organized by Tour&Kids, to accompany our clients and analyze with industry leaders the challenges of the future. In this post we review the keys of the meeting and how technology is redefining the experience in large leisure venues.

On November 26th, Valencia hosted the 1st Family Tourism Congress of the Valencia Region, an event long awaited by professionals, destinations, companies and organizations linked to leisure and family-oriented tourism. The event, promoted by the Tour&Kids product club on the occasion of its tenth anniversary, was held in the Santiago Grisolía Auditorium of the Arts and Sciences Complex, a symbolic enclave for reflecting on the present and future of the sector.

From Experticket we wanted to accompany our customers, hear first-hand their experiences and reinforce our commitment to large entertainment venues that seek reliable, scalable technological solutions aligned with the new demands of the visitor. Therefore, Jorge Mira Ucles, Experticket's commercial director, was present throughout the day, actively participating in the networking spaces and accompanying the managers who rely on our platform for their daily operations.

This congress has been a turning point for family tourism in the Valencian Community. For the first time, destinations, technology companies, hotel groups, theme parks, specialized media, consultants and public entities have gathered in the same meeting to jointly analyze where a segment that represents a key percentage of national tourism and that, according to the data shared at the event, continues to grow in volume, complexity and expectations, is heading.

A key congress for the future of family tourism

The program of the conference, prepared by Tour&Kids, combined inspiring presentations, round table discussions with renowned professionals and spaces for conversation aimed at fostering collaborations between entities. As highlighted in the presentation of the congress, the objective was to create a common knowledge space, identify shared challenges and design strategies to improve the family traveler's experience from all points of view: destinations, companies, operators, accommodations, leisure parks, suppliers and, of course, technology.

In this sense, both the Generalitat Valenciana and the representatives of the product club repeatedly stressed the importance of betting on innovative, accessible, sustainable and adapted to new consumption patterns, especially those of the generations that today travel with children: digitized families, demanding and in constant search of memorable experiences.

During the first part of the congress, key topics were addressed such as:

  • The importance of emotions and the generation of memories in the decision-making process.
  • The role of destinations specialized in family tourism.
  • Consumer trends, new communication formats and the need to evolve the way in which traveling families are informed, inspired and activated.

The impact of these reflections was evident in all the presentations. It is no longer enough to offer an attractive experience: the key is to connect with visitors before, during and after, accompany them on their journey, reduce friction and design products that meet the expectations of a public whose needs are changing rapidly.

A round table of business success stories with Experticket in the spotlight

One of the highlights of the congress was the second round table, focused on business success stories in the field of family tourism. This space brought together five entities that represent models of management, innovation and business approach recognized in the sector. For Experticket, it was especially relevant because three of the five participants are clients that use our platform in their daily operations: Magic Group, Sendaviva and Parques Reunidos.

This fact is not only a source of pride, but also a confirmation of the role Experticket plays as a technological partner of reference for large leisure venues and organizations that work with a high volume of visitors.

Magic Group

The hotel and leisure group, a benchmark in the Valencia region, shared its approach to integrating accommodation, experiences and family activities into a coherent, innovative proposal aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction. Magic Group is one of the tourism groups that has been most committed to digitizing processes, optimizing reservations and transforming the way in which families access their services, relying on technologies such as Experticket to ensure agile and seamless management.

Sendaviva

The Navarre park, consolidated as one of the most attractive family destinations in northern Spain, explained how the diversification of experiences and the constant adaptation to new family expectations has been key to its growth. His participation in the round table allowed to understand how parks that combine nature, animals, shows and attractions require robust tools that connect ticketing, access, capacity control and complementary services to ensure a smooth visit.

Parques Reunidos

One of the world's largest park operators shared their learnings on managing large volumes of visitors, seasonality, safety and operational efficiency. Their global vision provided a very valuable perspective for the rest of the attendees, especially in terms of process standardization, systems integration and the importance of having platforms capable of adapting to very different needs between parks.

The fact that three of the five business success stories presented use Experticket demonstrates the confidence of the sector in our solution and the growing relevance of advanced ticketing in the competitiveness of leisure venues.

Meeting with other clients and new synergies

In addition to the participants in the round table, the congress provided an ideal space to meet again with other customers with whom we work hand in hand in their digital transformation. We had the opportunity to greet and talk with representatives of Terra Natura and Oceanogràfic, two reference projects that are part of the leisure ecosystem of the Valencian Community and that stand out for their firm commitment to innovation, sustainability and the quality of the visitor experience.

In both cases, the digitization of access, advance sales, unification of channels and centralized management of services are strategic elements to maintain the level of excellence expected by both local visitors and international tourists. The fact that these venues rely on Experticket reaffirms our mission: to provide robust and flexible technological solutions that allow the parks to manage all stages of the visitor's journey with precision and without friction.

Experticket, the technological solution for large leisure venues

In a context where family tourism continues to gain prominence and where leisure venues have to adapt to more digital, more informed and more demanding visitors, technological solutions become a strategic piece.

Experticket is consolidated as an advanced ticketing system, specially designed for large theme parks, zoos, aquariums, nature parks, leisure centers and venues with a high volume of visitors. Our platform provides value in areas such as:

  • Ticketing and access management with maximum stability and speed.
  • Unified online sales, integrating affiliation, B2C, B2B and external partners.
  • Capacity control, capacity and calendars adapted to seasonal needs.
  • Integration with CRM, loyalty systems and marketing tools.
  • Management of complex products: bundles, upgrades, annual passes, activity bookings and combined packages.
  • Advanced real-time reporting for operational decision making.
  • Guaranteed scalability for peak demand such as holidays, long weekends or vacations.

The cases presented during the round table (Magic Group, Sendaviva and Parques Reunidos) are clear examples of how digitalization applied to ticketing not only improves the visitor experience, but also optimizes internal processes, increases revenue and allows teams to make data-driven decisions.

A congress that marks a before and an after

The 1st Family Tourism Congress of the Valencian Community has made it clear that the sector is in a moment of maturity. Demand is growing, visitors are evolving and companies need tools, alliances and strategies that allow them to anticipate changes.

Families are looking for different, personalized, authentic and comfortable experiences. They want to plan easily, find quick answers and enjoy venues that integrate technology, sustainability, security and learning. This congress, according to the organization, will be the first of many meetings aimed at accompanying companies and destinations on this path.

For Experticket, being part of this first edition has been an extraordinary opportunity to listen, share, add and reaffirm our commitment to family tourism and innovation applied to leisure.

Looking to the future: our commitment to the sector

The coming years will be marked by technological advances that will transform the way leisure venues manage their services: artificial intelligence applied to demand prediction, process automation, integrated customer management systems, new personalization tools and increased omni-channeling.

Experticket will continue to work to lead this transition and to accompany parks, cultural centers and tourist destinations that are looking for technological partners capable of evolving with them.

Participating in the I Family Tourism Congress has reinforced our conviction that collaboration between companies, institutions and technology is essential to build a tourism that is more prepared, more competitive and more connected to the real needs of families.

We thank Tour&Kids for organizing this meeting and congratulate the club for its 10 years of work promoting family tourism in the Valencian Community. And, of course, we also thank all our customers, those who participated in the table and those who attended as listeners, for trusting Experticket as part of their operational infrastructure.

We remain at your side to build together new ways to enjoy, live and share leisure.
