Experticket and Prioticket Reunite at IAAPA Expo Europe London 2026

Digital distribution has become a strategic driver for leisure and attraction operators. As theme parks, museums, zoos, and other venues expand their presence on OTAs, through travel agencies, tour operators, and new sales channels, the ability to efficiently connect inventory and channels has a direct impact on revenue, scalability, and operational complexity.

In this context, Experticket and Prioticket met again during IAAPA Expo Europe in London to share perspectives on market trends, connectivity, and the challenges operators face as they professionalize and expand their distribution strategies.

The meeting brought together Gert-Jan Ruiter, Ramon Vrieselaar, and Martin Harlow from Prioticket, allowing them to continue discussions that had begun at other major international industry events. Experticket had previously met with Gert-Jan at FITUR 2026, as part of our strategy for growth and international presence, and with Ramon during ITB Berlin 2026, where we once again analyzed the evolution of the European tourism and leisure ecosystem.

As we noted following our participation in FITUR 2026, these meetings allow us to engage in long-term discussions with professionals who are directly involved in the sector’s transformation.

Similarly, our meeting with Ramon at ITB Berlin 2026 highlighted the growing importance of connectivity and distribution within operators’ international strategies. We covered this in our article on ITB Berlin 2026.

Distribution is no longer just a sales channel

For an attractions operator, incorporating new distribution channels can significantly expand the commercial reach of its products. But it also introduces new challenges: inventory synchronization, availability, commercial terms, product control, and consistency of information across channels.

For this reason, connectivity becomes a matter of business architecture, not just technology.

A scalable distribution strategy must allow for growth in the number of channels and markets without proportionally increasing the operational burden. This is particularly relevant for operators that manage large volumes of visitors or an increasingly diversified offering.

IAAPA as a Forum for Anticipating Industry Trends

One of the main benefits of events like IAAPA Expo Europe is precisely the opportunity to discuss these issues directly with professionals working in various roles within the ecosystem.

Conversations among operators, technology platforms, distributors, and other industry players help identify trends before they become industry standards and provide a better understanding of which needs are becoming increasingly important for the business.

For Experticket, these events are part of a vision centered on listening to the market, sharing knowledge, and applying that perspective to the evolution of our technology.

We thank Gert-Jan Ruiter, Ramon Vrieselaar, and Martin Harlow for their time in London and the opportunity to continue this conversation.

The evolution of travel distribution increasingly revolves around connecting ecosystems. And understanding how to do so efficiently will be key for operators to grow without adding complexity to their business.
