Experticket joins the PortAventura Foundation at its 15th Charity Gala, further strengthening a long-standing partnership.

Our CEO, César Fernández Colmenares, attended on behalf of Experticket, reaffirming the company’s commitment to an initiative that demonstrates how business leadership can also have a positive impact on society.

Experticket participated in the PortAventura Foundation’s 15th Charity Dinner, strengthening a partnership based on trust and commitment.

The strongest relationships aren’t built solely on technology. They are strengthened by sharing a vision, values, and a long-term commitment. After celebrating PortAventura World’s 30th anniversary and recently holding a workshop to further drive its B2B distribution strategy, Experticket once again joined the resort for one of the most iconic events on its calendar: the 15th PortAventura Foundation Charity Dinner.

When a Partnership Goes Beyond Business

In recent years, Experticket has supported PortAventura World in evolving its tourism distribution strategy, helping to optimize the management of its B2B channels through a platform designed to operate in an international, highly connected, and constantly evolving environment.

However, strategic relationships are not limited to technology projects.

They are also strengthened by sharing the moments that define an organization’s identity.

After participating in PortAventura World’s30th-anniversary celebration and recently holding a workshop with its Revenue & Distribution teams to further foster collaboration between the two companies—read more here—it was only natural for Experticket to be present at one of the initiatives that best represents the resort’s values: the PortAventura Foundation Charity Dinner.

Because great partnerships are built on both innovation and shared values.

Fifteen years proving that leisure can also transform lives

The 2026 edition held special significance as it coincided with the 15th anniversary of the PortAventura Foundation.

The gala brought together more than 1,100 representatives from the business and institutional sectors and raised 115,150 euros, bringing the total funds raised since the first edition in 2011 to 1,895,157 euros.

Beyond the numbers, the Charity Dinner has established itself as one of the leading corporate social responsibility events in Catalonia’s tourism sector, bringing together each year companies, institutions, and organizations committed to projects that improve the lives of hundreds of families.

This demonstrates that the impact of a major tourism operator is not measured solely by its visitors or its financial results, but also by its ability to generate social value wherever it operates.

Two projects with a real impact on people

The funds raised at this year’s event will help support two initiatives with a clear focus on transformation.

On the one hand, they will contribute to the creation of a patient-centered pediatric clinic specializing in complex chronic conditions and pediatric palliative care, promoted by the Fundació Doctor Ferran, to provide comprehensive support to children and families throughout the entire care process.

On the other hand, they will continue to strengthen PortAventura Dreams Village, the PortAventura Foundation’s social project that offers free stays to families with children living with serious illnesses, integrating leisure as part of their emotional recovery.

Currently, more than 400 families benefit from this initiative each year, which has already become a European benchmark in tourism with a social impact.

A Collaboration That Continues to Evolve

Experticket’s presence at this event represents another step forward in a partnership built over the years.

In recent months, we’ve shared some of the most important milestones in this relationship: from the celebration of PortAventura World’s 30th anniversary to our recent visit to continue working together on the evolution of its distribution strategy.

Participating in the 15th Charity Dinner adds a new dimension to this partnership.

Because supporting a client means being present both in the projects that drive their growth and in the initiatives that reflect their purpose and values.

Technology with a Purpose

Digital transformation has profoundly changed the way the leisure industry sells, distributes, and manages its experiences.

But the true value of technology lies not only in the efficiency it brings to operations.

It is also measured by organizations’ ability to use that growth as a driver of positive impact.

At Experticket, we work to help theme parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, and other tourism operators manage their distribution more efficiently, expand their commercial reach, and offer a better visitor experience.

Being part of the PortAventura World ecosystem allows us to contribute to that growth through technology and, at the same time, support initiatives that put people at the center.

A commitment we share

At Experticket, we would like to congratulate the PortAventura Foundation on the success of this 15th Charity Dinner and thank them for the work they have been doing for the past fifteen years to promote projects that improve the quality of life for hundreds of families.

Our appreciation also extends to all the companies, institutions, and partners who made this year’s edition of this charity event possible.

Because long-term relationships are built on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision.

And it is precisely this understanding of partnerships that will continue to guide Experticket’s path alongside PortAventura World.
